APP - Hospitalist On-Boarding & Education The Advanced Practice Provider, Hospitalist On-Boarding & Education is primarily responsible for providing patient care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating and educating patients. They will work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. This is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, physicians and other visitors he/she encounters, both in person and on the phone. They will work in conjunction with a physician dyad partner to develop, maintain and update a curriculum to be used for APP’s for on-boarding, which will include working with new APP’s to provide feedback on progress and assist in setting expectations.
